Terms of service

These terms cover your use of LebEx, an iOS app published by Kode Foundry. Using the app means you accept them.
Your account
You need an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Your username is yours while the account exists and cannot be changed afterwards. One person, one account. Do not impersonate somebody else.
What you post
What you write stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people it was meant for, which is what publishing inside a community requires. Delete a post and we stop showing it.
Do not use LebEx to harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone, to post illegal content, or to advertise something you are not actually offering. Community moderators can hide posts in their own community. We can remove content and close accounts anywhere in the app.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Anything reported is looked at, content that breaks these terms is removed, and accounts that post it are closed. Every post, person and message in the app can be reported from the place you are reading it, and anybody can be blocked from Settings.
Places and vouches
Listings are added by people in the community, not verified by us. A vouch is one named person saying they used a place and would again, which is useful and is not a guarantee. Check anything that matters before you rely on it, and do not list a business you have no connection to as though you run it.
Vouching for a place you have not used, or for your own business under another name, is a misuse of the feature and we will remove it. A vouch can be withdrawn at any time from the place's screen.
Landing answers
Answers are what other people did, written in their own words and attributed to them. They are not instructions from us and they are not checked by us. Fees change, offices move, and required documents grow a third item without notice, which is why every answer shows when anybody last confirmed it and is marked as unconfirmed after six months.
Confirm an answer only if you have actually just been through it. A confirmation is the one signal the whole feature rests on, and confirming something you have not done makes it worthless for the next person.
What LebEx is not
It is not legal, immigration or financial advice. The landing shows what other people did, in their own words, with their names on it. Fees change, offices move, and required documents quietly grow a third item. Check anything official before you rely on it.
It is not a background check or a vetting service. A vouch means one named person says they used a place and would again. It is not a guarantee, and it can be withdrawn.
It is not an emergency service. For an emergency, use Emergency SOS on your iPhone or call your local emergency number.
Encryption
Private messages are end to end encrypted and we cannot read them. That also means we cannot recover them. Signing out or losing your phone loses the messages on it, and there is no backup we can restore, because a backup we could restore would be a copy we could read.
Availability
The app is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or free of faults, and we may change or stop features. To the extent the law allows, Kode Foundry is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of LebEx, including a message that did not arrive.
Ending it
Delete your account from Settings whenever you want. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
